Membership, Communication, and Public Relations
- Coordinates Membership activities including marketing for new facility-based and associate members, membership development and retention.
- Coordinates, develops and analyzes member benefits and services.
- Directs and coordinates all NYSHFA marketing and public relations activities.
- Develops and coordinates a statewide media campaign designed to improve the image of the nursing home industry in New York State.
- Assist and advises members in regards to public relations and media relations issues.
- Serves as a media spokesperson for the nursing home profession and industry as it relates to: public policy; emergency / crisis management and regulatory related issues.
- Coordinates statewide activities, public relations and media campaign for National Nursing Home Week.
- Responsible for designing and publishing the NYSHFA Newsletter, Member Services Directory, Public Relations Handbook and Legislative and Employment Initiative materials.
- Coordinates NYSHFA award and scholarship programs.
- Coordinates and manages the Art from the Heart Program.
