NYSHFA has been providing lobbying, educational, financial, operational and clinical support services to long term care providers and has advocated for the residents they serve for over fifty years. NYSHFA offers two categories of membership. Our Facility-based Membership includes skilled nursing, subacute care, assisted living, adult day health care, and residential health care facilities. Our Associate Membership includes a variety of businesses serving the needs of the long term care providers.
As the New York State affiliate of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), NYSHFA provides its members access to a wide network of leaders and resources within the nation's largest associations of long term care providers. Because of these affiliations, our members benefit by having their issues heard and acted upon on the state and national level.
As a member of the New York State Health Facilities Association you will be able access a wealth of services and programs. Our members are provided numerous opportunities to share ideas and concerns with their peers at the national, state and district level. NYSHFA personnel have an extensive background in long term care and governmental affairs and are available to share their expertise with you as an Association Member.
